Let’s get started-
The 3.5 inch Era Of iPhone
The Apple iPhone had come a long way since its humble beginning in June 2007. The very first iPhone came with the slogan “This is only the beginning.” It featured a 3.5-inch display and could handle 128 MB of memory.
Though the device was revolutionary at that time, it was obsolete by today’s standards. It only has a 2-megapixel camera and didn’t offer 3G connectivity.
iPhone 3G (July 2008)
Not much different than the original iPhone, but this time with an App Store! It improved upon the first one by adding 3G connectivity and boosting the storage capacity to 8GB.
iPhone 3GS (June 2009)
After the debut in 2008, iPhone 3GS followed a year later in June 2009, where ‘S’ stood for speed. The internal speed improvement is what this iPhone offered. It also brought the rear camera of 3 megapixel and a storage of 32GB.
iPhone 4 (June 2010)
Considered as the best-designed iPhone ever! It was the first iPhone having a front-facing camera. Little could anyone imagine that the selfies would take over the world! The device also introduced Retina display-a significant advancement of that time. With a memory of 512 MB, it could handle a lot more than the previous model.
iPhone 4S (October 2011)
The major difference between the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S was that the later one brought the camera to 8MP. A significant upgrade! Apple also introduced 64 GB storage, but the memory was still low. However, Apple sold 4 million units of iPhone 4S in the first three days.
With this grand success of iPhone 4S, the wholesale cell phones sellers kept an eye on the next big debut of Apple. After this, the 4 inch- era of the iPhone began.
The 4 inch Era Of iPhone
The iPhone’s screen was bigger for the first time in September 2012! iPhone 5 was Apple’s first smartphone with a display larger than 3.5in. Though the camera stayed the same, the memory went up to 1GB. It had LTE connectivity and a lighting connector.
And, the iPhone 5 sale of Apple’s went up to 5 million within the first week.
iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c (September 2013)
The iPhone 5c had a plastic shell and was a bit affordable. It was available in 4 different colours, however, nothing much was different.
On the other hand, iPhone 5s featured dual flash, touch ID, and slow-motion video. Besides this, there was M7 motion coprocessor that intended to save battery.
The 4.7 inches And 5.5 inch Era Of iPhone
iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus (September 2014)
In September 2014, Apple broke the tradition of releasing only one iPhone, and released two! The iPhone 6 featured a 4.7-inch screen, whereas iPhone 6s had a screen size of 5.5 inches. Both the devices had major speed improvements and featured Apple Pay.
iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus (September 2015)

The 6.1 And 6.5in Era

The latest, iPhone 11is the least expensive of all the Apple’s annual line introduced in 2019. On the other hand, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is the most expensive one with super retina XDR and 6.5 inches screen.
